This is from our 12th annual Fire Dept & Rescue Squad Banquet

we had on Oct 29, 2011.  We invite all of Wythe County Fire Dept &

Rescue Squads volunteers out every year with special community guests.

Jackie King > Vice Mayor Town of Wytheville
Harry Ayers > Town of Wytheville Police Chief
Doug King > Wythe Co. Sheriff
Danny Gordon  > Wytheville Radio station

We feed all of the volunteers from the 9 area Wythe Co Departments & Squads 6-Fire & 3- Rescue.  We had 160 people RSVP back and feed them a great meal of Roast Beef, Fried Chicken, Mash potatoes, green beans, corn on the cob, rolls and cake.

We then presented all 9 units with a $500.00 donation, a plaque and one dozen of our very own TOMMY MOOSE DOLLS .
